The OnePlus Nord 2 will be unveiled on July 22 (Thursday next week) and it could be the most expensive Nord yet, if the information by and Yogesh Brar proves to be correct. And we mean most expensive by quite some margin.
The Nord 2 will allegedly cost INR 32,000 ($430/€365) for the base 8/128 GB model, the version with 12/256 GB will be INR 35,000. We’ve put the prices and some comparison figures in the table below:
Model | Storage | Price (INR)) |
OnePlus Nord2 | 8/128 GB | ₹32,000 (rumored) |
12/256 GB | ₹35,000 (rumored) | |
OnePlus Nord | 6/64 GB | ₹25,000 |
8/128 GB | ₹28,000 | |
12/256 GB | ₹30,000 | |
OnePlus Nord CE | 8/128 GB | ₹25,000 |
12/256 GB | ₹28,000 | |
OnePlus 8T | 8/128 GB | ₹39,000 |
OnePlus 9R | 8/128 GB | ₹40,000 |
So far OnePlus has officially confirmed that the phone will use a custom Dimensity 1200-AI chipset, a 6.43” Fluid AMOLED display and will come with OxygenOS 11 with 2 major OS updates and 3 years of security updates. This matches the original Nord and the Nord CE as per OnePlus’ new update policy (but the Nord N series only gets 1 OS update).
The OnePlus Nord 2 is expected in two colors, Gray Sierra and Blue Haze. There is supposed to be a special edition dubbed Green Woods with a (probably vegan) leather back. Presumably, this one will cost a bit extra.
