OnePlus is expected to launch its 9 series soon, and back in December, we heard there might be a third device joining the vanilla and Pro flagships – an OnePlus 9E. We still have no idea about its specs, but the moniker appeared on the website of popular accessory maker Spigen, confirming it is on the way.

Big names such as Spigen are rarely mistaken about such info since they receive information about upcoming devices way ahead of the official arrival to prepare their products in time for the launch.
In this particular case, we see OnePlus 9E and not previously rumored OnePlus 9R, but the device’s actual name has become somewhat of a battle between leaksters. Specs-wise we expect it to be powered by a Snapdragon 690 chipset, coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
That’s the very same chipset in the Nord N10, raising a valid question whether these phones would be available at the same markets, competing with each other, or OnePlus has something else on its mind. We still have no idea when the OnePlus 9 phones will arrive, but we hope we’ll learn the date on Monday, March 8.
