One UI 3.1.1 update comes to Galaxy Tab S7 series

After the Galaxy S21 series, Z Fold2, Z Flip 5G and Z Flip got the One UI 3.1.1 update back in August, Samsung is finally bringing the new firmware to its entire Galaxy Tab S7 series.

The new update brings several multi-task improvements headlined by the three-split view function in multi-window with adjustable height and width for each app. Other new additions are the long press to switch between pop-up view and split screen view as well as the option to open split screen view by dragging the screen from the side. The latest September security patch is also on board.

Users with the Tab S7+ 5G can expect the T976BXXU2BUI1 firmware to arrive in at just over 1.3GB size. The update is currently seeding across Europe and should arrive to more regions in the coming weeks.
