Activision Blizzard has named Google executive Daniel Alegre as president and chief operating officer, effective April 7. He will report to CEO Bobby Kotick and replace Coddy Johnson, a 12-year veteran at the big game publisher. Johnson will serve as special advisor to the CEO.
