The new Moto Watch costs Rs 5,999 in India and will go on sale from January 30 via Flipkart, Motorola’s website, and leading retail stores.

According to Motorola, the moto watch uses Polar-powered tracking to deliver real-time wellness data. This includes calorie tracking that distinguishes between workout-related energy use and overall daily expenditure, along with insights into how the body uses different energy sources. The watch also tracks workouts, steps, distance, and activity intensity, with inactivity alerts prompting users to move after extended periods of sitting.

Sleep tracking is another key focus, offering sleep scores, recovery data, and breakdowns of light, deep, and REM sleep stages. The watch also supports Polar’s Nightly Recharge feature, which assesses overnight recovery and the body’s response to stress. Continuous heart rate monitoring is included, along with dual-frequency GPS for more accurate tracking of outdoor activities such as running.

The moto watch also supports custom goals and reminders, including hydration and medication alerts. From a hardware perspective, the watch features a 47mm round display housed in an aluminium frame with a stainless steel crown. It supports interchangeable 22mm bands, including silicone and metal options, and is compatible with third-party straps.

It gets 512MB RAM and 4GB of eMMC storage. There’s a 1.43-inch AMOLED Display on the front which supports always-on mode. Durability features include IP68 water resistance rated at 1 ATM and protection handled by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Battery life is rated at up to 13 days under standard use, or up to seven days with the always-on display enabled.
