The latest midrangers in the moto family are here with the Moto G9 Power and Moto G 5G. The G9 Power gets its name from its 6,000 mAh battery while the Moto G 5G is the brand’s most affordable 5G phone in Europe at €300.
Moto G9 power
In addition to its massive battery, the Moto G9 Power comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD and punch hole cutout for its 16MP selfie cam. The back houses a 64MP main shooter alongside a 2MP macro cam and 2MP depth helper. You’ll also find the usual moto dimple with an embedded fingerprint scanner.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 sits at the helm hooked to 4GB RAM and 128GB storage which is further expandable via microSD.
The phone boots Android 10 with Motorola’s My UX on top. The massive 6,000 mAh battery charger over USB-C and supports 20W charging speeds.

The Moto G9 Power retails for €200 in Europe and comes in Electic Violet and Metallic Sage colors. It’s also arriving to more markets in Latin America, Middle East and Asia in the coming weeks.
Moto G 5G
As 5G networks are slowly but surely making their way to more countries around Europe, Motorola wants to offer users an affordable gateway to the next-gen experience. The Moto G 5G is a 6.7-inch phone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G chipset.
It packs a more versatile cameras setup with a 48MP primary camera aided by an 8MP ultrawide lens and 2MP macro cam.
Keeping things running is a 5,000 mAh cell which also does 20W charging over USB-C. The phone also holds an IP52 splash-proof rating and retains the headphone jack on the bottom. The software front is covered by Android 10 with My UX on top.
The Moto G 5g comes in Volcanic Grey, Frosted Silver colors and will be offered with 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage. Retail price for the base model is set at €300.
