Moto G84 listed on Motorola India’s website ahead of September 1 launch

Motorola is gearing up to launch its Moto G84 in India on September 1 and while we wait for the official launch the phone is now listed on the brand’s Indian website.

Moto G84 is equipped with a 6.5-inch pOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There’s a punch hole cutout at the top housing a 16MP front-facing camera. The back brings a 50MP main cam (f/1.88 aperture and 1.0µm pixels) with OIS alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens that doubles as a macro cam.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 chipset sits at the helm alongside 8/12GB RAM and 256GB storage which is expandable via the microSD slot. The phone boots Android 13 with Motorola’s MyUX interface on top and Moto is promising an update to Android 14 and three years of security updates. The phone also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging. Other extras include Dolby Atmos-tuned stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IP54 rating.

Moto G84 will be available in Marshmallow Blue, Midnight Blue and Viva Magenta colors. The latter one features a vegan leather back. The only remaining question marks are pricing and availability but we’ll have to wait until next week’s announcement event for those details.
