Monster Hunter Wilds revealed at The Game Awards


Capcom announced Monster Hunter Wilds during The Game Awards today in Los Angeles. It will release in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.

This is the first new entry in Capcom’s multiplayer action-RPG series since 2021’s Monster Hunter Rise, which first released in 2021 for Switch and later came to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Monster Hunter used to struggle finding success outside of Japan, but that changed with 2018’s Monster Hunter World. These days, you expect a new Monster Hunter to become a massive success worldwide.

The reveal trailer showed some new ideas for the franchise, including stampeding monsters and a mount with that can glide. More info will come in the summer.
