Kraken Expands Custody Services to UK and Australia

Crypto exchange Kraken has expanded its custody services to institutional clients in the UK and Australia, marking the first international expansion following its successful U.S. launch in March. Kraken Institutional, already established in the UK and Australia, now offers its custody solution to both existing and new clients in these countries, emphasizing security and client service. Kraken Custody integrates advanced security protocols and role-based access controls with the broader Kraken product suite, providing institutions with secure storage, management, and scaling capabilities. The service is provided through Kraken Financial, a U.S.-based, state-chartered bank, which keeps clients’ digital assets separate from the Kraken exchange.
