iQOO 15R India launch has been announced and the device is expected to be a rebranded model of a Z-series smartphone which was launched in China a few days back. The iQOO 15R may get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, dual rear cameras, a 7600mAh battery, and more. Here’s what to expect from the device.
iQOO 15R India Launch: What to Expect?
iQOO 15R India launch has been confirmed by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya on X, where he not only confirmed the launch but also revealed the device in all its glory. The design matches that of the iQOO Z11 Turbo which debuted in China recently. However, there will be a new variant for the Indian market which comes with a pixelated design on the back.
The device also appears to be compact by the looks of it, and that actually matches the Z11 Turbo’s 6.59-inch form factor, aside from the fact that the two have an identical camera module on the back. In China, the iQOO Z11 Turbo 5G starts at CNY 2699 (approx Rs 34,960) for the base 12GB + 256GB model. The Indian pricing could be slightly higher at around Rs 40,000 according to what we expect from iQOO on the basis of brand’s pricing history in India.
iQOO 15R India launch could take place sometime in February this year. However, an exact launch date is yet to be revealed.
If it is a rebranded version of Z11 Turbo, then the two could also share specifications and here’s what the iQOO Z11 Turbo sports under the hood.
