A week after pre-orders started, the iPhone 13 series is available in the second wave of countries. Or will be very soon since at the time of this writing the Apple Store is “down”, as is tradition before every launch. It will be back up at noon UTC time.
South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Mexico and several other countries now have Apple’s newest smartphones stocked up in stores. The iPhone 13 series has been on sale in Turkey since last week.
The Apple Store is busy today for another reason too – the Apple Watch Series 7 pre-orders begin this Friday, shipping will start next Friday. The smartwatch will have wide availability out of the gate: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Korea, the UAE, the UK, the US plus more than 50 other countries.
You will be able to call “dibs” on a Watch 7 when the store virtually re-opens at 12 PM UTC. If you don’t want to spend $400 on a new watch, keep in mind that the Watch SE and Watch Series 3 are still available starting at $280 and $200, respectively.
The same goes for the iPhones too, the iPhone 12 and 12 mini are still around, even the 11 and XR. Here are more details on discounts on older models.
