Infinix Zero 5G is the company’s first 5G phone

Infinix just unveiled its latest flagship and while it probably won’t make the Galaxy S22 Ultra lose any sleep it’s still a major step forward for the maker. As the name suggests the Zero 5G is the young brand’s first smartphone with support for NR networks.

The new device is powered by a Dimensity 900 chipset and its design is reminiscent of the Oppo Find X3 Pro from last year.

The smartphone comes with a big 6.78” LCD of Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It offers 240Hz touch sampling rate and peak brightness of 500 nits.

The capable mid-range chipset is coupled with 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB speedy UFS 3.1 storage. There’s also a microSD slot for further expansion.

The design of the phone is called Uni-Curve and resembles the Find X3 Pro bump where the elevated camera island sits under the same piece of plastic as the rest of the back panel.

The Zero 5G has a triple shooter with a 48MP main cam. Alongside it sit 13MP 2x telephoto and 2MP depth sensor units. The selfie cam has a 16MP sensor.
