Huawei introduced the Watch GT 3 back in October as part of the European launch of the nova 9 smartphone, and now it’s brining its next wearable to the Old Continent.
The Watch GT Runner is the latest addition to Huawei’s portfolio, and it comes with a light body, improved antenna design and the same excellent battery life and personal fitness features.
The Watch GT Runner has been available in China since November and it’s not starting its global rollout. Its 46mm case holds a 1.43” round AMOLED screen, a TruSeen 5.0 heart rate, built-in GNSS positioning and promising 14-day battery life.
The design of the watch is done in such a way for the antennas to be outside the circular part of the body, and that will improve signal and coverage when communicating with the L1 and L5 satellites. The software is HarmonyOS 2 that comes complete with an AI coach for outdoor runners.
The price of the wearable is €299. Huawei offers several deals or bundles for the most eager buyers – users in Germany can get a pair of Freebuds 4i for free, as well as one-year membership for Adidas Running Premium.
French customers will get a Huawei Scale 3 for free, while Italians can opt to get the Huawei Sound Joy speaker for just €50 more, instead of paying the full price of €150.
