Huawei P50 series to arrive in last weekend of March, include three phones

Huawei’s smartphone business might be having a rough time, but that does not stop the team from launching new phones. The P50 series is usually launched in March, and according to one trustworthy leakster, the new lineup will arrive between March 26 and March 28.

He also revealed there would be once again three phones with two different chipsets – the vanilla Huawei P50 will come with a Kirin 9000E, while the P50 Pro and P50 Pro+ will run on the flagship platform Kirin 9000.

According to the Twitter user @RODENT950, Huawei has finalized the design, and the phone is ready to go into mass production. The new series will bring a “new design,” but the source did not say whether it is about the cameras or the phone/s in general.

The P50, P50 Pro, and P50 Pro+ will certainly bring a new camera setup, improved screen, and gaming capabilities. The front panel will be OLED. While Korean manufacturers LG and Samsung are ready to provide panels, we’re pretty confident Huawei will also rely on fellow Chinese company BOE for some devices (likely the ones for the domestic market).
