Huawei launches Watch Fit Mini in Europe with a 1.47” AMOLED screen

Huawei keeps expanding its wearable portfolio, with the latest addition being the Watch Fit Mini. It has a rectangular screen, but the body is slightly taller and narrower, as well as lighter than any other Watch Fit wearable so far.

The Mini variant has a smaller screen, lighter body, but retains all the features from its bigger sibling, as well as long battery life and physical button on the side.

The rectangular display is a 1.47” AMOLED with support for touch and slide gestures. The resolution is 368 x 194 pixels, which is 282 ppi. The body weighs 20 grams and there are three options for a strap – Frosty White, and Mocha Brown made out of leather, or Taro Purple which is a fluoroelastomer strap.

There is a six-axis IMU sensor that is used as a gyroscope and an accelerometer on board as well as a heart rate sensor on the back. It also handles SpO2 metering – that’s the level of oxygen in the blood, and when the result is under 80%, the Watch Fit Mini will immediately suggest you to see a medical specialist.

The battery capacity is 180mAh and it is advertised to last 14 days of typical usage on a single charge, while power users should expect to go 10 days between charges.

Women will appreciate the new feature Huawei’s Lite OS brings, called Cycle Calendar. They will receive discreet timely reminders when their period is coming and the accompanying Huawei Health app has a neat calendar to keep track of.

There are 96 different indoor and outdoor exercise modes, and the wearable can track daily and nightly activity, including sleep through the well-known TruSleep 2.0 feature that reportedly offers details about sleep quality with up to 96% accuracy.

The Huawei Watch Fit Mini is already available for purchase in some European countries like Germany and Italy. It is priced at €99 (that’s about $115) and the company throws a free scale (originally between €40 and €70), as well as Runtastic Premium membership (€10) for one month.
