How to Correct Perspective Distortions with Photoshop’s Camera Raw Filter

Here’s a 1.5-minute video tutorial that could improve your workflow if you’re often correcting perspective distortions in your photos. In it, Photoshop Training Channel teaches how to get the job done by converting your photo into a Smart Object and then using Photoshop’s Camera Raw Filter.

In the new version of Camera Raw, the tools we need have been moved from the top toolbar to its own dedicated Geometry panel.

You can either do a guided correction by drawing two or more lines for lines that should be vertical or horizontal, or you can click the Auto button to have the software automatically detect and correct the perspective distortion in the shot.

Watch the video above for a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this method of correction.
