Honor X8 goes official with Snapdragon 690 and 64MP camera

Honor’s latest X-series phone is here with the newly launched Honor X8. The device was announced for the MEA region and will arrive to more regions including Europe and Africa soon. It brings midrange specs including a 6.7-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 690 chipset and a 4,000 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging.

Honor X8 also brings a 64MP main cam on its back, next to a 5MP ultrawide and two 2MP sensors for macro shots and depth data. The 16MP selfie cam is housed in a punch hole cutout below the earpiece. The 4G Snapdragon 690 is joined by 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The software side is covered by Honor’s Magic UI 4.2 which sits atop Android 11.

Honor X8 comes in Titanium Silver, Midnight Black and Ocean Blue colors. Pricing and availability details were not provided by Honor at this point.
