Honor V30 sells 100,000 units in first sale

Honor introduced the V30 and V30 Pro devices last week and today the first flash sale took place. The company was gathering registrations for pre-orders and now that it had some stock the first 100,000 units went out in a matter of seconds. According to the company, all it took was three seconds for the whole batch to be sold out.

The 100,000 units include both the Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro across all platforms – Huawei’s own store Vmall.com, as well as JD.com, Suning, and other major online retailers.

Sadly, the Kirin 990-powered phone is available only in China, and according it’s still unclear whether it will make it to global markets or not.

The Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro come with 5G and three cameras on the back. On the front, there is a 6.57” LCD with Full HD+ resolution, while the fingerprint scanner sits on the side. The phone arrives in a neat Blue color, but there is also Pearl White or Black option.

Prices start from CNY3,299 ($470/€425) for the 6/128 GB variant of the Honor 30, while the Pro version costs CNY3,899 ($555/€500).
