Honor introduced a Tablet V7 Pro device back in August, and now it is time for its vanilla version. The new slate will arrive on September 26, and it won’t be just a downgrade on the hardware side – it will also look different, according to an official image, posted by Honor on Weibo.
The Honor Tablet V7 (likely to be called Pad V7 outside China) will have its power key and volume keys in the same upper left corner, but this time the sides will be slightly rounded and not flat. Such design would make it pretty much impossible for the new Magic Pencil 2 to stick magnetically to the long side, meaning the V7 features will be quite limited, compared with the Pro variant.
Specs-wise we don’t know much and we can only hope that Honor brings the Mediatek Dimensity 1300T chipset to the V7. The Sunday event is taking place in China, meaning Google Services won’t be mentioned, but surely Honor will introduce them if the tablet makes its way outside the domestic market.
