Honor sheds light on the X30i with more official images

Honor introduced its new Play5 Youth smartphone today and the company will only take two days before it unveils another device. The company promised to officially announce its X30 lineup on Thursday, October 28, with the X30i and X30 Max scheduled to take the stage.

We saw the phones earlier this month, and now Honor posted even more photos on its Weibo page, essentially confirming the X30i will be a lightweight device, while the X30 Max will follow in the footsteps of the X10 Max.

The X30i will be “light as the wind, floating in the skies”, which translated from marketing lingo means it will have a thin and light body.

The X30 Max will justify its name with a huge screen and long battery life. It will also have a USB-C port on the bottom right next to the 3.5 mm audio jack and the speaker grille. We can see the volume rocker clearly on the right side, accompanied by a power key/fingerprint scanner, meaning the notched front will be an LCD.
