The Honor 10 Lite received the EMUI 9.1 update in China back in June, and the rollout of this update has now expanded to India.

EMUI 9.1 brings in GPU Turbo 3.0, which improves the gaming experience and reduces the power consumption by 10%. The new firmware also switches the file system on the Honor 10 Lite to EROFS which promises a 20% increase in random read speed and saving of 2GB system storage.

The update is rolling out over the air and should reach all the Indian units in a week or two, but if you can’t wait, you can try pulling it manually by heading over to your phone’s settings menu.
