Honda Prologue upgraded with over 300 miles range, but no price change for 2025

Honda’s electric SUV was the best-selling non-Tesla EV in the US in late 2024, and now it’s even better. The 2025 Honda Prologue now has over 300 miles of driving range, more power, and—the best part—it’s the same price despite the upgrades. Check out the upgraded Prologue below.

After arriving last March, Honda’s electric SUV took off — quickly becoming one of the best-selling EVs in the US. By the second half of the year, it was the second top-selling electric SUV, trailing only the Tesla Model Y.

For the 2025 model year, Honda is making it even more attractive. The 2025 Honda Prologue can drive further, has more power, and you can still snag one for under $40,000 (including the federal EV tax credit).

Honda’s electric SUV now boasts up to 308 miles of driving range, up 12 miles from the 2024 model’s (296 miles).

The 2025 Prologue is available in three “very well-equipped” trims: EX, Touring, and Elite. Despite the upgrades, prices remain the same with a starting MSRP of $47,400.

With the $7,500 EV tax credit, the 2025 Prologue EX Single Motor model starts at just $39,900 and has a range of up to 308 miles.

Single-motor models now have 220 horsepower, up from 212 hp in the outgoing Prologue, and 243 lb-ft of torque, up from 236 lb-ft.

that 300 mile range is going to tip a lot of people, even if it’s not required 99% of the time. It’s in the territory of not having to worry about range, which is really nice.
