Google Pixel 10a India Launch Confirmed, Pre-orders To Begin From February 18

Google Pixel 10a India launch has been announced by the brand and it will be available to pre-order in the country on February 18, same as the global launch. The Pixel 10a’s design has also been revealed by the company, confirming it matches with the leaks and isn’t different from the device’s successor.

Announced via the Google Store, Google Pixel 10a India launch will take place on February 18 when it will also be made available for pre-order. The handset has also been revealed in a purple shade which is likely to be called Lavender. The design stays the same as last year’s Pixel 9a with a flat frame likely made of aluminium and a plastic back. The camera array sits flush with the back panel with a two-sensor setup. The power and volume rocker remain on the right.

For those who subscribe to Google Store updates, there’s an exclusive offer where if they sign up by 13 February, 1:29PM IST, Google will email them a code on the day pre-order begins. One can apply it with their Pixel 10a purchase to unlock a benefit for a future order. Google notes that the promotional code expires 2 weeks after being issued and while supplies last and the code is available for both new and existing Google Store subscribers. This code will only be applicable when purchasing from Google’s online store which was announced back in May of last year in India.

Google Pixel 10a Specifications (Leaked)

Google hasn’t announced the specs of the handset yet but leaks have already spilled the beans on it. Per rumours, the Pixel 10a sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a Resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels, and a 120Hz Refresh Rate. Further, the display gets a 20:9 aspect ratio, up to 2700 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and 430 ppi of pixel density.

The phone is powered by Google’s Tensor G4 SoC, along with 8GB of LPDDR5x RAM. You will get 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs on Android 16 and will get 7 years of Android OS upgrades, security updates, and regular Feature Drops.

Pixel 10a comes with a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 48MP f/1.7 Samsung GN8 sensor paired with a 13MP f/2.2 IMX712 ultra-wide angle sensor. On the front, there is a 13MP f/2.2 Sony IMX712 sensor as well.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. For security, you get an in-display fingerprint sensor and the Titan M2 security chip.

On the battery front, there’s a 5100mAh cell that supports 23W fast wired charging and Qi-certified fast wireless charging at up to 7.5W speeds. Then it gets dual stereo speakers as well. The phone is also IP68 certified.
