Former Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth joins Honor, teases new smartphone launch in India

Honor withdrew from the Indian market back in 2020 and has not released any new phones in the country since then but that’s about to change as the brand confirmed it is re-entering the market soon. In addition, former Realme CEO Madhav Sheth announced he is joining Honor India with a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Honor’s last smartphone release in India was over three years and the brand has been leading its India operation via PSAV Global ever since. The Noida-based company is the de-facto distributor for Honor products in India which have been limited to smartbands, tablets and laptops for the past three years. PSAV Global boasts a network of over 5,000 retailers and over 100 distributors across India. Based on rumors, Honor 90 will be the first new smartphone from Honor to launch in India.
