Elinchrom releases new iOS app for controlling a large collection of its strobes

Elinchrom has released a new app for iPhone and iPad devices that allows you to control compatible Elinchrom lighting equipment from your mobile device when paired using the Elinchrom Bridge.

The Elinchrom app makes it possible to independently control strobes while also giving an overview of the lighting setup from the dashboard so you know the settings of each unit at a glance. There’s even an option to save custom setups so you can easily recall lighting setups when you have to move locations or come back another day.

The Elinchrom Bridge automatically handles the exposure and synchronization so it’s as easy as making adjustments and pressing the shutter. The list of supported Elinchrom lights is fairly impressive, going as far back as Elinchrom’s D-Lite RX strobes. Below is a full compatibility chart taken from this PDF:

The Elinchrom app is free to download in the iOS App Store for iOS and iPadOS devices.
