Let’s start with the Dell UltraSharp 40 Curved WUHD Monitor (U4021QW), the world’s first 40” ultra wide curved monitor with 5K resolution (5,120 x 2,160 px), according to Dell. Its IPS panel boasts 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage and can render 1.07 billion colors.

The port selection on the monitor is equally impressive. The Thunderbolt 3 offers transfer speeds up to 40 Gbps and can charge your Windows laptop or MacBook at up to 90W. There’s also a USB-C port with 15W charging for your phone. It’s easily accessible and there’s a full size USB-A port next to, perfect for removable storage. You can also plug in an Ethernet jack and get wired connectivity (faster and more stable than Wi-Fi).

The monitor can act as a KVM too, meaning that you connect multiple computers (or computer + phone) to the monitor and use the same keyboard and mouse for both. Watch the video for more details. By the way, this monitor won a CES 2021 Innovation award.

If the 40” version is too rich for your blood (prices below), the Dell UltraSharp 38 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor (U3821DW) is a more affordable version. It has a 38” 3,840 x 1,600 px IPS panel and while the Thunderbolt port is missing, there’s still a USB-C with Power Delivery. Both monitors also has two 9W integrated speakers.

For multi-monitor setups you can pick up the Dell UltraSharp 24 and 27 USB-C Hub Monitors (U2422HE/U2722DE). Those do output 90W over USB-C, meaning they can power pretty beefy laptops, and also feature Ethernet ports.

They have pop-up 5 MP cameras, noise-canceling microphones and dual 5W speakers. A dedicated Microsoft Teams button allows you to quickly jump into a meeting. The monitors support Windows Hello login and the Cortana digital assistant.
