Cosina has announced the details of its upcoming Voigtländer APO-Lanthar 35mm F2 Aspherical lens for Nikon Z mount cameras. Previously only available for Sony E-mount camera systems, Nikon Z-mount users will soon be able to get their own native version.
The manual lens is constructed of 11 elements in nine groups, including five low-dispersion elements and two double-sided aspherical elements. The lens features a 12-blade aperture diaphragm, has a minimum shooting focusing of 35cm (13.8″), uses a 52mm front filter thread and has an aperture range of F2 through F16.
Despite being manual, the lens is chipped for focus confirmation and in-body image stabilization support, in addition to the usual EXIF data transfer, on compatible Nikon Z camera systems. Cosina doesn’t provide the dimensions of the lens, but does note it weighs 360g (12.7oz).
