Check out this 4K video, shot on Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro

Xiaomi announced the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro last week in Beijing, China. The phones were scheduled to be introduced to the global audience at MWC 2020, but with the cancellation of the conference we are left without a rescheduled announcement.

While the phones might be a bit delayed, the company gave a Mi 10 Pro unit to the filmmaker and photographer Luis Guanzon to work his magic with it. He already has short smartphone videos on his YouTube channel with an iPhone 6 and Google Pixel 2, so now we’ll leave the new video below for you to enjoy.

There are some things that can be taken from the video, like the details in different lighting setups – at Grand Central station and in the subway, where light is artificial and scarce. We would love to go into detail and analyze the video down to its every pixel, but apparently the video was compressed while going through QQ and later YouTube so that would make little sense.

Further, the footage was likely taken with some additional setup like stands and gimbals so it’s probably not fully representative of the quality of the cameras.

The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has four shooters on the back – a main 108MP camera + 8MP long telephoto lens + 12MP 50mm portrait lens with 2x optical zoom + 20MP ultra-wide shooter. The phone reached 124 on DxOMark’s camera chart, surpassing the Huawei Mate 30 Pro and becoming the best camera smartphone (for now).
