Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is coming to Game Pass on July 24, fulfilling a goal of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard.
Megan Spurr, senior community lead at Xbox Game Pass, said in a blog post that Modern Warfare III will be available for Game Pass on Console, PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate starting tomorrow.
That includes single player campaign, multiplayer and the series’ first open world Zombies experience. Most Call of Duty fans are familiar with the campaign and multiplayer, as the game debuted last fall as Activision launched the game. This relaunch is more for people who might be new to the franchise and are willing to try it out because they’re already Game Pass subscribers.
If you’ve played Modern Warfare II multiplayer, Modern Warfare III allows you to transfer much of your content and weapon progression with its Carry Forward feature. Microsoft recently announced new subscription payment tiers for Game Pass that include “day one” games such as the brand-new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 coming in the fall.
