Call of Duty: Call of Duty multiplayer beta arrives August 30 — on all platforms

Black Ops 6: Everything You Need to Know

Activision announced the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta kicks off on August 30.

While under previous ownership of Activision Blizzard, Sony’s PlayStation players always got earlier access to the multiplayer beta versions of Call of Duty. But this beta will be available on the “PC and consoles,” as you might expect considering Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard.

The Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Beta gives fans hands-on with the new Omnimovement system and other gameplay innovations across a variety of brand-new core maps, lets them build their own loadouts, access a variety of weapons, equipment and Perks, and drop in across a number of modes.

Black Ops 6 preorders are available now at participating retailers, in-game, via players’ platform stores, or at CallofDuty.com.

For the first weekend, the multiplayer beta will start at 10 a.m. Pacific time on August 30 for all players who have preordered (on PC and consoles) and end on Wednesday September 4 at 10 a.m. Pacific.

For the second weekend, all players on all platforms, regardless of preorder status, as well as Game Pass subscribers will have access to the beta starting on September 6 at 10 a.m. Pacific and ending on September 9 at 10 a.m. Pacific.
