Asus India exec Dinesh Sharma confirmed that the company’s Zenfone 8 is coming to the local market soon. The news was confirmed in a tweet that also linked a pre-sale page. Unfortunately, we don’t get an official launch date just yet.
There’s also no word if the larger Zenfone 8 Flip will also join its smaller sibling.

Zenfone 8 is the most up-to-date compact Android flagship at the moment bringing a 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 888 chipset and 64MP primary camera. Based on speculation, the phone’s retail price in India should be less than its $630/€670 pricing in the US and Europe.
