Apple is now seeding iOS 14.1, iPadOS 14.1 and tvOS 14.1 updates

Apple has begun seeding the 14.1 updates to its iOS, iPadOS and tvOS. These arrive just in time for the new iPhone 12 generation.

The iOS 14.1 should come pre-installed on the new iPhone 12 quartet and that’s probably the reason why Apple did not offer beta versions to the developers. Instead, they move straight to testing iOS 14.2.

There is no changelog for the new iOS and iPadOS updates and the rollout seems to be gradual, but we expect Apple to make it available to everyone in the next few hours.

The 4th and 5th generation of Apple TVs are getting a new tvOS 14.1 update, too. No changelog on that one either.

If you own a compatible iPhone, iPad or Apple TV you should be able to update if not right away, then certainly in the following hours.
