Last-minute Apple Event rumors
As is usually the case, a handful of last-minute rumors have emerged with more details on what’s to come during today’s event. Rumored announcements include a new iPhone SE, a new iPad Air, the Mac Studio, and much more. Here are some of the latest last-minute rumors:

Apple Event details and how to watch
Today’s “Peek Performance” Apple event kicks off at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. You can stream the event live through Apple’s website, on YouTube, and more. We’ve got the full details on how to watch right here.

- Mac Studio and Studio Display are available to order today and arrive March 18.
- Studio Display is $1599 and can be configured with an updated stand or nano-texture
- $1999 for Mac Studio with M1 Max and $3999 for M1 Ultra
- Apple will also an optional silver and black Magic Trackpad, Magic Keyboard, and Magic Mouse to pair with Studio Display
- Three USB-C ports and one Thunderbolt port
- The Studio Display features an A13 Bionic chip on the inside with a built-in webcam that supports Center Stage, bringing Center Stage to the Mac for the first time.
- Studio Display measures in at 27-inches with a 5K resolution
- Now we’re talking about the Studio Display, which Apple says offers features “no other other desktop monitor can offer.”
- Mac Studio can be configured with M1 Max or M1 Ultra, with up to 128GB of Ram and up to 8TB of storage
- Mac Studio can power up to four Pro Display XDR screens plus an additional 4K display
- Port options include Thunderbolt 3, USB-C, USB-A, SD card slot, ethernet, HDMI, and a headphone jack
- The Mac Studio features a design that measures in at 7.7-inches wide and 3.7-inches tall
- Apple has officially announced the Mac Studio and Studio Display
- M1 Ultra supports up to 128GB of unified memory and up to 800GB/s memory bandwidth.
- The M1 Ultra features a 20-core CPU with 16 high-performance cores, four high-efficiency cores, and a 32-core Neural Engine
- M1 Ultra uses an Ultra Fusion technology to essentially connect two M1 Max chips together
- Apple officially announces the M1 Ultra chip as an even higher-end option for Mac users
